My Secret Saturdays Figure Collection

Here is my collection of Secret Saturdays 6" figures and Cryptid Collection figures as it stands now. Once I get the Bishopville Lizardman and Duah, I'll be pleased with this lot of figures.

Good Bye Fiskerton WIP!

It has been revealed that Mattel has plans to make a 6" Fiskerton figure in the next wave of figures so I do not plan to work on my custom any further. I will just wait patiently for the official figure!

Drew Saturday WIP #3

I got a little more work done on Drew over the holidays. I finished sculpting the boot cuffs on both of her legs and sanded them down appropriately. I also worked on her arms a bit. I also found a head that I think will work well with minimal sculpting. I am going to reshape the jaw so that it is more pointed like Drew's. Next step will be to complete sculpting on the arms and reposition the neck so the head sits flat.

I also took a pic of Drew disassembled so you can see all the pegs that hold her together and provide the articulation.

Custom Secret Saturdays: Fiskerton-WIP

While looking through my box of parts, I found some things that I thought would work well for Fiskerton. I got antsy and ended up dremeling some parts and sticking them together really quickly. I want all of my customs to fit right in with the official figures so I try to give them the same amount of articulation. However, Fisk is so lanky and I think that if he didn't have leg and feet articulation he would be very hard to stand. Here is what I have done so far. I stuck Zak in the shot to give you an idea of his size. It's hard to tell from this picture, but Fiskerton's legs are bent at the knees, just like he stands in the show.

Sorry for the bad pics.

Drew Saturday- WIP #2

Updated WIP shots of Drew!

I sculpted over her boots and sanded them down. I sculpted the boot edge for one of her legs. I found a torso that would work for her but it required a lot of midifications. I bulked it up from the back and also had to dremel out the inside to add pegs or peg spaces for the articulation. I used part of a pen top (yes, a pen top) to articulate her at the waist. Next time I take pictures I will snap a pic of Drew dismembered so you can see the articulation rods.

I completed sanding and sculpting one arm for her and then I decided that I wanted it to have elbow articulation. The arms with the wooden rods through them are going to be used for their elbow articulation. I liked the shape of the previous arms so I will integrate this elbow articulation into the sculpted arm.

Superhero Squad Custom-Magik

This Magik figure was commission for a customer of mine. She was made with an Emma Frost for the body, Elektra right arm, and Irina Spalko head.

Batman: Brave & Bold Action League Flash Custom-WIP

Since the Batman: Brave & Bold Action League figures are similar to Superhero Squad figures, I just had to try customizing them. First one I am going to tackle will be Flash. I know he's not in the show but since he is one of my favorite DC heroes, I had to try him.

The base figure I used was Aquaman. I sanded down his belt, sculpted over the scales, and sanded away the fins on his arms. That is a Batman head on there with some parts sanded down and sculpted over. It will be a challenge to paint the logo and lightning bolts around his waist. I may have to use some decals.
